From Madame Noire:
It's a rarity you see black female celebrities come into the Hollywood limelight with their own locks. Some people proudly do so and own it, showing off hair that's as thick and kinky as it wants to be, and we love it! You know, the Janelle Monáe's, the Leela James' and the Esperanza Spaldings of the world. But others keep their natural locks on the low and go on to successfully change the lace front game, re-invent wigs, and have some women flocking to the beauty supply store for similar look with bubbly and stripper-esque names like, "Candi." They look just as fab.

Wendy had great hair when she was young. her hair was long and she wore it in a ponytail but i don't know what happened after she became a radio head. But if she take care of her natural hair she would look much better. Let her natural beauty shine through.
She's the friend in my head i believe if someone she was dining with had food in their teeth she would tell them. Some people will just pull you to the side and let you know when things are out of place but there're those other types of people who will have you walking down the street with toilet paper hanging from you rear end. Ladies check the mirror before exiting the rest rooms. I've had to pull a couple of ladies coats about things the person or persons with them should’ve mentioned. And we'll know someone who will have you walking down the street with an eye buggah (yes, I said it) and won't pull your coat. Some people call it eye cold but that's not true. Some people don't properly wash their face and then put Vaseline near the eye so they sometimes wound up with having to get their coat pulled :-)

Maybe we don't want to see Wendy without her wigs/weaves? Most of the people that I know will tell you quickly, you don't want to see me without this bought hair. So, maybe she needs to wear it. After all nothing changes appearance like hair.

Although right now I am wearing my hair, I find absolutely nothing wrong with wearing un-natural hair. It gives versatility. You can't go from locs, to straight, to curly, to short, etc. with your own hair. Has little to do with if the natural hair is longer. When are men going to stop trying to control everything black women do or better yet, find something wrong with it. White women wear extensions too. Maybe some of you are so naive you think there hair grows overnight. Jessica Simpson, Brittany Spears, all of them wear fake hair. Give me a break. We are constantly being criticized for our decisions. Our hair, our skin complection, our attitude, our bodybuild. Please spare me the rhetoric. Wendy can and will keep rocking her various wigs and so will many others regardless. Black women continue to do you!!!!
