For some ladies weaves is a way of life because it's not easy for many black women to grow that long silky locks .It's want she wants ,unfortunely black females get hooked on all the fake and just won't do without it. Even if it mean damaging her scrap she'd rather buy that bag of hair and keep on pretending long is good. Ladies short is good too, give you scraps a rest how long will you all keep this act up.Just like when light skin men were played out and dark brother's were the going this. It's all about your season ,if it's you time and season you'll get it right.

There are a LOT of brothas who can't STAND the WEAVE CRAP like me. Hair length means NOTHING to me. Amber Rose is fine and look how long her WEAVE is. I go along with the old TRIBE CALLED QUEST line IF YOUR HAIR AND EYES WERE REAL I WOULDN'T HAVE DISSED YA BUT SINCE IT WAS BOUGHT I HAD TO DISMISS YA!!!!

VDOG clear you're eyes I have natural hair no weave or pieces, it's my home grown to the root hair . I've been blond for 41 years I didn't invent blond I just perfected it,I've trained ladies how to color their hair because you can't buy experience. I wear contact for over 20 years and will continue a sista got to see ,I got brown so I could find the dang things. But I'm all woman . I can grown it long and cut it short and look good. Ladies remember hair doesn't make you who you are,it can add to your looks hair ,eyes ,butts breast, you can buy but what ever you do ,you do you. Now for the haters get over it ,as for me I Know I'm a bad sister ,when you get to the place were everone is trying to look like you,that's a complaiments, jealouy is crueler then the grave.Don't hate the player hate the game.

It is the same as Brothers with the $1000.00 dollar rims, 3000.00 sound systems and diamond earrings in both ears. Put them together with the weaves and you have a lot of investment money in the wrong hands.

As far as i'm concerned I have no problem with a woman wearing a a weave or a wig, because she's doing nothing more than enhancing the beauty she already has in and outside of her.
Hair is hair, who cares if it's hers or not? I don't. And if a man can't accept you ladies who chooses to wear weaves and wigs tell him to keep it moving ladies, because you don't need a man who is not married to you dictating how you should dress, and what you cannot wear on your head.
These men are out here laying up with other women on their wives and girlfriends, and some of these women do have "REAL LONG HAIR THAT IS THEIRS BUT THAT DIDN'T KEEP THEIR MAN AWAY FROM OTHER WOMEN'S BEDS." so what's your point in worrying about what a man has to say about what's on your heads ladies?
You women cook, clean, and take care of the kids of these same men who proclaim they don't like WEAVES and then you go natural for these men, and what do you get in return? A low life man who lays up with other women on you, he talks to you any kind of way, he barely takes you anywhere, and he couldn't care less what you think of his actions.
In my opinion what you women shouldn't wear on your heads these days, is a man's negative view of you.
You're still a woman, and to hell with what you do with the hair on your heads.

You sir are a gentleman, and you have your mind's eye wide open. And although I personally believe that weaves/wigs should be worn in a non-outlandish way, fake hair does not define the woman on the inside.
Funny thing is that some of the men that are dissin' the women about their hair are some nappy heads themselves. Go figure.

Several years ago before weaves were popular my sister who has naturally long hair was working a temp job where there were other young (but grown) Black women working who would say nasty things behind her back (but loud enough for her to hear) about how they coudn't stand light girls with long hair because they think they are cute. well my sister saw two of these girls recently both with long weaves, interesting.

@ Clinesha18: I thank you for what you said to me, but I do say what I mean and I mean what I say. Hair "DOES NOT PAY THE BILLS, YOUR HARD WORK DOES" so if anyone allows a man or a woman to make them feel bad just because you choose to enhance yourself with a wig or a weave, then your feelings deserve to be hurt.
All races of women and men wear wigs, weaves, and hair pieces. But we as black people always have something "NEGATIVE" to say about one of our own.
Just because that person chose to make themselves look or feel better with a wig or a weave, well get over it black people because no one really cares what you think, and the human race will still be wearing hair that is not theirs, and they will continue doing so.
