After getting into a little trouble, she's back on the scene and hopefully working on a few new songs for our listening pleasure. Let's take a peek at the many looks of the hair all the ladies in jail were dying to get their hands on.
Hair Transformation : Da Brat
The usually masculine rapper gives us a sleek look in 1999 at the 13th Annual Soul Train Awards. This darker shade of red is just enough to catch our eyes, but not too much to be overwhelming. This is one of the most mature looks we have ever seen her with.
Da Brat gives us a style reminiscent of Coolio but with a feminine twist. Paired with quite the interesting outfit, she makes the real fashion statement with a head full of rubber bands.
Reminding us THAT you're never too old to have fun, Da Brat takes a trip back to her childhood in a baby-pink outfit with super-high pigtails.
Never one to stick with just one look, the rapper shocks us all at the 2000 Source Awards by opting for extensions. She spices up the subtle look by slicking down a few hairs to add a little wave to the look.
The funky lady holds on to her rap persona in 2001 at an MTV tribute to Janet Jackson with a studded bandanna and funky cornrows.
In keeping with the theme of the night, Da Brat walks the carpet at the 2002 'Like Mike' premiere with a sweatband and high ponytail. She looks prepared for a game of one-on-one with Mike himself.
Looking the most ladylike we've ever seen her, the reformed tomboy graces NY Fashion Week in 2005 looking, dare we say... sexy?
Taking it back to 1999, Brat adds a pop of red to her long locks at the 2006 VH1 Hip Hop Honors. The playful twists and deep color create the perfect marriage between grown-up and kid.
The rapper showed up at the 2007 All-Star game with the heavily accessorized look. We don't even want to know how long this took to create. It looks like quite the headache.
Shortly before her jail stint, the soon-to-be inmate appeared at the 25th Annual Pop Music Awards in 2008 with this much darker style and drastic cut. We can't help but think the shorter cut was for easy maintenance in preparation for what was to come.

We need to stop down playing this sort of low life criminal ghetto mentality. She broke a bottle across a black woman's face and disfigured her for life. I consider that more than just "a little trouble".
After what she did to get incarcerated I hope blackvoices and other black media start showing standards and not bring her back into the media limelight. Everyone deserves a second chance but that doesn't mean she should have the privilege of being a celebrity again. Black people shouldn't support anything this trash does.

Has this young woman ever heard growing up, this means becoming an adult, this may be out there for some to wrap their brains around, but has she ever heard of getting an education, instead of looking foolish all of one's life.

Let's all show kindness and love towards DaBrat. Love is the only force that truly heals a person. Judgment is very damaging. I'm sure we have all done things we're not proud of. Most of us should consider ourselves 'lucky' that we're not celebrities so our 'mistakes' won't be subject to intense judgment, condemnation and media scrutiny. Yes, Da Brat should have the privilege to be a celebrity again as long as she shows that she has learned from her mistakes and can use her voice to influence others in a positive manner. I love you Brat!!!!PS: The name 'Da Brat' is for entertainment purposes, this woman is very intelligent and she knows what she's doing.....
