Grown and harvested in the southwest region of Morocco, the argan tree has provided a beauty secret to women of the region for centuries. Moroccan women use the oil harvested from its kernels by applying it to their dry hair for styling and overnight moisture treatments.
This ancient Moroccan secret has found quite a receptive market here in the United States. Argan oil is now the hot new ingredient for women seeking softer, silkier tresses. Here are some of the hottest new argan-oil-infused products!
Moroccan Oil. Duh -- the brand in the familiar sky-blue label calls itself "the original" for a reason. Moroccan Oil helped to put argan oil on the mainstream map, and there's a reason it's so popular with women with both relaxed and natural hair. It smells awesome, and it works!
Creme of Nature is known and loved by black women with all different hair textures, and the new Creme of Nature with Argan Oil From Morocco line promises to deliver radiant shine and intense moisture to thirsty tresses. The Gloss and Shine mist would be great for already-styled hair, while the Intensive Conditioning Treatment promises to strengthen, moisturize and prevent breakage. At $1.50 for a 1.75 oz packet, it's an affordable way to give argan oil a try! Look for the new red packages on store shelves this summer.
BE Beverly Hills has a hot, new Inspired Shine and Repair Serum with Argan Oil that blends pure and premium ingredients to rehydrate and protect your hair. Argan, jojoba and avocado oil, combined with silk amino acids and SPF protection. Oh, and it's paraben free!
Have you tried argan oil yet? Have you noticed a difference?

Cream of Nature is garbage. Just like all the other white man hair products for black people. I only use Carol's daughter on my hair. My hair is growing so much.

I read your comments about using Carol's daughter hair products and how it's growing your hair. Which products are you using and where can I purchase them?

Carol's daughter products are available in Macy's in Chicago.
I am telling all the women I know not to put perm or dye in their hair. I have always gone to professional beauty salons & Jan. 2009 is the last time I will allow the deadly perm to relax the kinks in hair to be applied by a hair stylist. You would think a Black Hair Stylist would know the toxin ingredients in perm will eventually bald you. Well I have a bad case of alopecia. I had a long conversation with a Black dermatologist about the extreme itching of my scalp & she said NO STUDIES HAVE BEEN DONE ON THE PROLONGE USE OF PERMS, HAIR DYE OR TIGHT EXTENSION BRAIDS.
IS IT TIME FOR US TO STAND UP & SAY WE AREN'T GOING TO ACCEPT ANY PRODUCTS THAT HAVEN'T BEEN TESTED FOR SIDE EFFECTS, ETC.
WHEN YOU START THIS MOVEMENT I WILL SUPPORT YOU 125%. RIGHT NOW I AM WORKING ON REPARATIONS

Argan oil is great and available at Sally's. I have not had a perm in 18 months. It will make your hair rael straight but I find you cannot wear a lot of curls when the oil is used.

You can also try Ojon, it's all natural, comes from the rainforrest, you can get ti at Sephora, and QVC, although it has a cocoa scent to it it gives your hair sheen, volume if you want it and it rehydrates you hair and solves the split tnd problems, my hair has grown sooo much w/this product I use nothing else.

Sounds interesting. If it has been around as long as it has I'm sure there is something too it.
Keep hairstyles fresh while you sleep.

This is one of the few products I have used that delivers exactly what it promises. It has made a HUGE difference in my hair...so much silikier, shinier, and easier to manage. I honestly can't see myself ever not using this product. It is truly amazing.
