The star of 'Hawthorne' told Lopez that Willow wanted her hair to look like her grandmother's. "I said, 'Willow, grandma has no hair. You've got to have some hair.' However, little Willow insisted that she was tired of her hair and wanted to be able to "get in the pool," and just swim. So after consulting with hubby Will Smith, the couple allowed their daughter to shave the sides of her head. Talk about freedom of expression!

What you say is true. It is alright to encourage your kids to exceed, however it is another to try to be their friend and give in to their wishes. They are heading down the wrong road and they fear it. Otherwise they would not take the time to try and explain their actions toward their childern. They need to live like kids and I do not care how much money they have. Money can not buy everything. It is a shame that when people have money they forget from which they come.

who is no stranger to eclectic style -- was inspired by the likes of Cassie, La La Vazquez or Melanie Brown, you're wrong. Jada Pinkett Smith hit up the 'George Lopez Show' recently and revealed the shocking inspiration behind her daughter's wild haircut – her grandmother!I am an Air Force and single at present .I need a woman who can love me back ..I also uploaded my hot photos on kissmilitary .c om under the name of hotlove2..It's the largest and best club for seeking Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Police Force, and the admirers of those who wear the uniform.I just hope you don't mind me being a soldier ...Please Check it out!I'm serious.

Look, it's JADA'S fault for doing this for her daughter and JUMPING on the BANDWAGON! It's not the singer Cassie's fault? What doesn't agree with me is the fact that, Jada can shave her daughter's sides of her hair but will BRAID and NOT SHAVE her's? I DON'T like that done to a child's hair! Until he or she is 18 yrs old and is not living under my roof, they can do it or shave ALL OF THEIR HAIR? How about that! I also have a problem with Jaden's hair to. When she lets his hair out, it is so all over the place and WILD! I know this has nothing to do with hair but maybe it is related? Willow and Jaden's attitude stinks. Every time I see them on T.V. doing some type of interview, ect.. they are not all that respectful when they talk to other people? That's what I see and it's sad, blame Will and Jada, and that is probably why they get their way all the time? I'm just saying?

Jada is speaking for her daughter and saying that Willow was inspired by her Grandmother? She knows the truth was, her daughter was inspired by Cassie and others of TODAY'S hairstyles. Jada just didn't want the media to come down on her and Willow? Let's keep it real!

It seems that for the few comments I have seen, people want to say things like "these kids have too much freedom" and the like. I have one question for you guys. HOW DO YOU REALLY KNOW THAT?????? None of us live in the Smith household. None of us know how they TRULY discipline their kids. What we see is a public persona. We don't really get a glimpse into the private goings-on in their family. Now, some may think it's a bit too liberal, but one, who are we to judge, and two, that's a problem that Will & Jada will have to put up with. I don't know about you all, but I don't know what it's like to be a kid who has lots of money, stylists, publicists, can travel whenever and wherever, and can get pretty much anything you want. Maybe some of you do. Their problems are not our problems, and ours are not theirs. Let these kids be kids and allow their parents to deal with whatever "baggage" may come with that. I'm just sayin!!!

I couldn't agree with you more. I laugh when I see all of these judgmental comments on these celebrities. Because you know what - they truly could care less just like I could care less what someone I don't even know thinks about me looking from the outside in. Just imagine some stranger all up in your business just because you are of celebrity status. Judging you and your family, how you dress, wear your hair, what you say, speculating on this and that based on what you read and hear in the media - all of which most of us have not one iota of first hand knowledge on which to base an informed decision! It just kills me the time and effort we take to tear somebody down, yet so little effort taken to build somebody up! And let's remember God made us all individual creatures, unique in our heart and spirit, so we will always do things a little differently because of that, and besides who wants a body of clones - wouldn't be anything to talk about then would it? Let Will and Jada handle themselves and their children and their business the way they see fit. They are not gods and they are not perfect and I, for one, do not look up to them as any sort of role model, and IMHO we should not hold them to our own personal standards which is what everyone is doing when they comment. Because as far as I know there is no "celebrity standards" book/foundation by which they "should" operate! SMDH LOL
