Naomi Campbell does not come across as cuddly or approachable. She's beautiful and fierce. I'm thinking the people around her hesitate to mention the obvious, so I'll take a shot.
Naomi, it's time to leave the weaves be and let your hairline live. When I caught sight of these photos on the gossip blog Miss Jia of Campbell at a New York City photo shoot on Monday, my heart went out to her poor scalp. It doesn't deserve this kind of abuse!
The U.K.'s Daily Mail identifies the issue as traction alopecia, which can be caused by "tight hair styles, ponytails, hard brushing and hair extensions." It's generally recommended that weaves stay in for no longer than six weeks, and it's always best to visit a stylist who keeps the integrity of your hairline in mind.
Here's hoping Naomi finds a product to help grow back those edges and give her scalp some much-needed love!

My advice, leave your hair alone for awhile and give those bald spots a chance to grow back in and get healthy. Hair grows a half inch a month so all it needs is time and some babying.

This topic brings to light JUST HOW MUCH pressure and ridicule Black women are under everyday to keep up with their hair. The same thought came to me with the movie good hair. Why don't people talk about the UNBELIEVABLE CRIMES that have taken place over the course of HISTORY that have caused black women to keep putting these weaves in??? Because EVERYONE hates the person that speaks the truth including Black PEOPLE! The fact is that most black women around the World are never taught to love themselves in their natural state therefore are always weaving and creaming their hair to just get a job and play along with society. I encourage all black women to try and wear their hair natural..even if it is up under the weave to be true to yourself! I will never criticize a black women for wearing weaves because look at this World where everything WHITE is beautiful!

Racguel, you're angry at the whities black woman bit is so 70's. There are many black people both men and women who whites will agree are beautiful. Believe it or not us whities have evolved a bit.

Hmmmmmm interesting, biting, bitchy comments there gals...YIKES...but now for MY comments. I am white, my stylist is white and there is one black stylist at the salon. The white stylist will not TOUCH black hair because it is wiry and hard to work with. The black hair stylist won't do white hair because its "too weak, too soft and to thin". So there ya have it. And for THIS particular salon, it works beautifully.

@Jeanie, just for the record, I have a salon and I work in black, white, asian, african, etc hair. The grade of hair does not determine whether I can create beauty from it. The "black" female who refuses to do white hair is a coward and does not know how to do hair at all, same for your white stylist who refuses to work in black hair. When you go to school to do hair, nails, etc. You are NOT taught to chose the hair type in order to be licensed. You must be able to do all types. Now! If both stylists (in the salon you go to) chooses not to do a specific grade of hair, it's because they never knew how to do it in the first place and barely got their license to do hair. Girlfriend I would find another salon to get my hair done at. Come see me, I'll give you a better do than your stylist and it's on the house! Peace

What planet are you people from that is one UGLY bitch and mean with it. You heard of what comes around goes around well this is happening to her. All those cell phones she threw at people well it looks like they did a boomarang and came back and hit her in the face and shaved some of that hair back from her ugly face. What grace what beauty go get your eyes checked and fast.

i agree she is not pretty at all..i look at her and im trying to figure what society calls beauty....now vanessa williams thats a beautiful black woman everything about her is natural...stacy dash theres another beautiful sister...but naomi...freakin gross..believe me if she were walkin down the street alongst side these other 2 females and none were fames people would would look at stacy and vanessa before taking a look at naomi...and tyhats real talk..
