Raven-Symone was spotted out on the red carpet this weekend at the 21st anniversary of A Time for Heroes celebrity picnic sporting this daring new cut along with reddish-brown highlights. It's a drastic change from her usual long tresses. Are you feeling the new 'do?

It's a weave...not her hair and just because it's short don't think that it's not a weave-in.
Black woman are just so addicted to the allure of "other people's hair" and not joyful about their own even if they naturally have, according to Black folk, "good hair" growing from their heads.
It's all shameful negative mental conditioning and the now generation belief that "if you don't weave it, then you can't achieve it".

ummm...you obviously didnt see her on Wendy Williams rockin her super cute short cut??she admits shes always had short very curly hair and worn wigs n weaves for years for her show & for her business longer hair was an unspoken requirement...when the show ended she cut her hair and took out the weaves. The short hair is hers &she loves her short hair so dont go lumping Raven in with the superfical celeb BW who prob havent seen their own real hair since they were 12!Plenty of BW LOVE their real hair so dont get it twisted! Most of them just HAPPEN to not be celebs...And the celebs that are natural get little to no media time...hardly ever get photographed...wonder why??Its sad to say but there are few celeb BW who would DARE 2 NOT be all long and flowing...its the mainstream standard of beauty & they r to scared to be ostricized for looking "too ethnic".some things will never be acceptable.Plus, so many BW have bought into the hype, they think long, bone straight and lovely is the ONLY beauty standard...they r lost..Raven isnt so leave her alone!

I think Miss Raven Simone hair looks good on her, of course I am in love with short hair. Nothing wrong with it to me she is trying to new things, she's pretty, smart making her money and doing her thing she could go bald I wouldn't give a hell. I wish her the best in her future and stay strong.

I think she looks great. Not only does she look good she is a DAM GOOD role model for the children of today. RAVEN, keep on doing YOU because you are a beautiful person, INSIDE and OUT!

She's growing up. @ Destia22 But a role model? Not for my daughter. She needs to loose weight. Black don't crack because it doesn't make it past 40 or 50 any more. Why do people think ooozzzzz is White? Why can't Black people feel that it's time to move on from insecure practices? That hair sh1t gets old. the majority of White women don't even comb their hair or wash it, so how about that? Most of them look like those horse-faced harpies from Sex in The City and WISH they could tan. Stop comparing your life to TV.

Robert, your insecurities are showing....why does Raven need to lose weight to be a role model for your daughter? You obviously have some deep rooted issues with weight...some sort of weird fear. If you raise your daughter to be proud of herself, teach her healthy eating habits, and you lead her as well (by eating right also), it shouldn't matter what the hell Raven (or her role model) look like. And just so you know, black doesn’t crack because our skin has larger melanosomes compared to Caucasians.... melanosomes protect skin from cancer and early wrinkling, so don't be a hater!!!! With your wrinkly ass! We do make it past 40; with all the hate you carry around, you'll be the 1st one dying in your mid 40's! Anyways, I don't like Raven's hair this way at all. Looks like she's trying to bite Rihanna.
