I agree that sometimes her hair looks a hot mess. But there is nothing wrong with her hair here.It actually has been looking good lately. Seems like the author had too much time on her hands.

Come on yall, will we ever get over or better yet, come to our senses about our GOOD nappy hair. NAPPY is not a bad word, nor is hair. Bad hair is hair that comes out on the comb, it is unhealthy hair, it is bad. But hair that is on your head is good (nappy) in it's natural state. We have been soooo braindirty we don't even realize it, we make all kinds of excuses for trying to look like white women about the head. Wash your brain, come clean, embrace your nappy hair. Can't you see, anything else does not even look natural.I don't care what you paid for it!

I happen to be white, I don't understand the men putting down female's. I am DAMN sure glad we finally have a president that is mixed as the country we live in is mixed.My grandson can see that no matter what color he is he can be whatever he want's as long he work's hard for it. That being said, What about back in the day when men came in wearing weave's trying to look like superfly? Getting Geri curl's ect? Then again, nobody here has mentioned the gazillion's of white girl's who get their lip's made bigger & butt implant's (which I think is too freaking funny)are they trying to be black? All this racial s**T being talked bout. Nobody is trying to be white,nobody is trying to be black if they are then they are going to be sadly mistaken, cause it AINT gonna happen!! Back in the late 70's white dude's were getting their hair permed to have afro's my brother being one, he wasn't trying to be black, that just happened to be the style back then. Nobody here seem's to remember that.All this stuff they say women are doing, men have done it too. Everybody need's to quit "race hateing" it's 2010 almost.We have finally crossed that road where we have a president that actually reflect's this country, not some old azz dried up of a prune white man that was born back in the day and grew up drinking out of a different water fountain.
