I've been a fan ever since I first saw the video for Like A Star on VH1 Soul. There's something truly refreshing, accessible, fresh and classic about her aura. She's got a bearing evocative of Josephine Baker, in my opinion. And then there's that hair! I know many a curly girl who cites Ms. Rae as their hair role model. Since she took a leave of absence from the spotlight following impossibly an painful personal loss, I've been rooting for her glorious comeback. And from the looks of her on the red carpet at the 2009 Q Awards, she's ready too!
I am loving these soft, romantic curls. It's the kind of look that you can replicate with old fashioned rollers and some time under a dryer, regardless of whether your hair is naturally textured or chemically assisted. This is a look that I might rock during the upcoming holiday season. Glam, feminine, festive! But that's just my opinion, I'm crazy for big curly hair 24 hours a day. What do you think of Corinne Bailey Rae's new 'do?

I'm not loving it simply because it overpowers her face. She's gorgeous, but I'm just used to her shorter, natural hair.
Is this a weave? Or has her hair grown that much?

I think she is very pretty this way. She looks sophisticated and more mature. Maybe after what she's been through she needed a change. She was also cute with the short look to.

I think it looks wonderful. Who cares if it's hers or weave looks great on her! Looks like an easy care do, which is what we all want, not to have to sleep with our head in a sling or worry an we get the look the stylist did.

Corinne looks fabulous! Versatility is awesome when it comes to hair styles, it reminds me of when I would apply a little setting lotion, french braid my hair, take it down and shape. I still till this day sleep in the "Little" Silk Hair Cap which gives me much needed protection. Here's to Hair Do!

Corrine big curls –
this hairstyle is nice and easy to achieve. i get it by applying a little water (spray bottle) to a section of my dry detangled natural hair; applying a nicely scented natural oil or butter to the section. stretch out the section then put in a plastic roller. i repeat this process for the rest of my hair. the hair can dry under a hot dryer in 30 minutes or dry overnight. Voila nice curls. at night i install the rollers again or pin curl the hair and sleep on a satin pillowcase. in the morning i tease the curls with my fingers and my hair is straight and shiny with neatly defined curls.

She looks very nice and glowing. I have always loved big curly hair. However, I think her hair could have been a little less frizzy and more glossy.
