Ah, Halloween. A time to stuff your face with candy and get dressed up in a crazy costume. And every year, the day after Halloween there are celebrity photos that make you wonder -- what the hell were they thinking?
This year's case study, Mel B. These days, the only thing "scary" about this former Spice Girl is what she's done to her little girl's hair. Check out the Spice Girl and her family on Black Celebrity Kids.
Look closely at little Angel Iris' hair. Yes, that's a mohawk. Yes, her hair is completely shaved on the sides. And I am sincerely hoping that her hair is straight because of heat, and not from chemicals.
And please note her haircut has absolutely nothing to do with Elmo. Even if this child was dressed as a punk rocker, I still couldn't condone shaving a 2 year old's head just for the sake of Halloween.
I don't mean to give Mel B the Allison Samuels treatment - I do believe she's being a good mother to her daughter by taking her out to the pony ranch for Halloween. They really do look like a happy family. But when it comes to the hair, I gotta ask. Why?

Well I can apoligize that you say you are Black but that just means you have 0 taste if you somewhere in your mind can dream that it is alright to cut a GIRL childs hair in this manner! So that being said 0 tast is something that you can work on just dont drag cildren into it!

Mel B has always demonstrated behavior that would lead one to believe that she's most likely one or two bricks shy of a load. Its certainly one thing as an adult to choose to make drastic changes to ones hair, and a whole 'notha selfish thing to do it to your child. But, just as the writer has said, I don't think it makes Mel a bad mom, it just makes her seem a little loopy and goofy, that's all.

Mel B is a GOLD DIGGER...yes she WAS rich before Eddie. She saw her girl come up with David Beckham and she wanted that life style. Eddie didnt want her...so she got pregnant. Yes...she's better now...she gets $50,000 a month for child support. She came up....CHA CHING! BTW...what is her husbands occupation? I know.... Mel B's husband!

Mel's about as bright as a 5-watt bulb. No real mystery to how she ended up jacking up her kids hair like that. So, the fact that her husband is known for being shady and willing to do pretty much anything for attn. (ex: parading in public with red lipstick) just like her, is certainly a no-brainer, and leaves that kid completely helpless to their vices.
