What's the quickest way for a celebrity of color to get attention these days? Change their hairstyle. Then tweet about it. Seriously - it works! Cassie may have been the first. Then Solange. And now Brandy Norwood's on the Twitter train (as @4everBrandy), changing up her 'do and wondering what her fans think.

Well, I think it's cute... and very retro. And I love short hair right now - it's fresh and clean and makes a very modern statement all at the same time.
For some reason when I first saw this style, The Supremes started playing in my head. This is a very early Sixties, Motown style to me. But I like it on Brandy! This would look great for a new video, one with that classic theme.
Oh, and I don't believe for a second that this is her real hair. Having gotten caught up with Ciara and Michelle Obama, my wig-dar has been activated. We won't be fooled again!
What do you think? Are you feeling Brandy's new style?

get away from that wig head Karen Brown of Yeadon look and those ugly weaves and contacts.... stop looking like a fake white girl, and enbrace being a black natural beatiful lady... wigs and those ugly blond wigs on a woman of color sends a bad message to our little young girls of color looking for a role modle...little black girls today believe they need a collection of wigs and contact to hide their narural beauty and sends a insecure message. that don't look pretty unless they have a fake white looking wig and contacts...help me save the babies. Black women have lost her idenity in USA.

This is hilarious. For years, people have said that Brandy and I look alot alike and I recently went to wearing short cut weaves about five months ago. Now Brandy is sporting hers. Seems like we have alot more in common besides looks.

I like this hairstyle on Brandy. She looks nice and sophisticated. But she has the facial type to wear ANY hair style. Personally, whether natural or weaves I think how you want your hair is up to you. I don't think EVERYONE should be natural and I don't think EVERYONE should wear weaves. I have a thyroid issue so my real hair falls in clumps. So I wear weaves. But I wore my natural hair for many years. I like to wear weaves, not to look "European" but because I like different looks. IF we all had short hair or if we all had weaves, we'd all be a batch of walking zombies. I think its your preference. I think its wrong to judge people no matter what hair style, mohawk, afro, weaves, etc. Let people express themselves they want to. But her hair is very pretty! The only issue I have is with the fact that people just seem to be jumping on the bandwagon....You know once all the short hair cuts have been swagger jacked then its back to long hair. Celebs have a short attention span. So I don't take any hair style change seriously. It seems to always be for publicity. Next year you know Cassie and Solange, etc will be rocking weaves! C'mon, Kim K. went back to dark. I think people shouldn't follow celebs and what they do. Everything is a fad. Just my opinion....
