If you hadn't heard of 'Jon & Kate Plus Eight' a few months ago, chances are you've heard of it now. What started out as a lighthearted TLC reality show about Jon and Kate Gosselin and their two sets of multiples -- sextuplets and twins -- has turned into a grisly study of divorce, infidelity and our nation's nasty tabloid culture. The family has fallen apart before America's very eyes. There's one thing, however, that has refused to falter, refused to wilt, refused to budge even an inch in the face of domestic tragedy. That thing is Kate Gosselin signature hairdo.
"Everybody wants it," the mom of eight told Entertainment Weekly in May. " It's work. I have very, very thick hair, so it's not going to work for everybody. ... My stylist gets calls from all across the country."
While Gosselin -- and several entertainment journalists worldwide -- seems to think her hairstyle is a one-of-a-kind, in-demand Gosselin original, I'm going to have to disagree. Very few blonde reality stars might be rockin' the Kate, but it's a style that I've seen black women wearing for years and years. I mean, years. And several black celebrities (see Ciara's new short 'do) have been stepping out in a similar style recently with hardly the same amount of fanfare and publicity.
After the jump, check out some of Gosselin's celebrity hair twins. Who wears it better?

Oh yes, this is soooooo 1978 with that Bo Derek bs. Acting like Stevie wasn't rocking that same style 3 years prior. It's not kate's fault tho. The media has put her on this pedestal where the powers that be force her and funny lookin ex into our faces via internet, trash rags mags and tv. So it's like she is the only one withthis hair style. We sisters have been rockin it for decades. Don't worry tho, as long as we know the truth, it'll be alright.

Kate's hair rules. While the other are similar, they pale in comparison. Besides, most are wigs.

Who cares what she does she is nothing but a bimbo with no talent other than procreating, along with her bozo husband who is just as dumb as she is they certainly are just two nothings. I feel sorry for their children having clowns like that for parents. Just as sad is some americans find their program entertaining. Jus shows the dumbing of America.

Spice, you're calling "file?" Would that perhaps be the same thing as "calling fowl?" Once again people are showing their ignorance.

I'm sorry Hon, were you attempting to correct the person who typed "file" with a "fowl" of your own? Hmmm. Let's get it right once and for all. It is ((((drum roll))))..."FOUL"! Don't stick your two cents in and then wind up owing a dollar.

"quintessential white woman"
Wow, now you know if a white anybody was to say this about a back woman all hell would break loose and they would be racist. Honey not all white people are they same, and I know not all black people are the same, just like not all Asian people are the same and so on. So the "quintessential white woman" isn't a bitch if that was the impression you were under. The "quintessential bitch" is a bitch, no matter the color of their skin. :)
