Atlanta was blessed with an explosion of hair-raising talent over this weekend, as the Bronner Brothers International Hair Show took place at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Regretfully, I couldn't be there. But ATL's own celebrity photographer par excellence, Freddy O, was in the house, and he was kind enough to share his photos with us at BV Hair Talk!
I heart Freddy. Thanks so much for your generosity. Visit his blog at FreddyO.com for the latest celebrity happenings and hijinks in and around Atlanta.
The beautiful thing about the Bronner Brothers show is creativity is on display. Vivid, vivid display. This year's theme appears to be color to the max. The more outrageous, the better.
The Bronner Brothers show is all about fantasy hair and makeup, but we're wondering -- do you see any styles you'd actually consider rockin' here?

To m0ng00se ...You people never fail to amaze me. To show how ignorant and yet self-rightous you people have to be...here you are using racist name (And if a nigra)and ( jungle bunny during an African )TO REFERENCE OF PLACE OF ORIGIN AND YET YOU SAY YOUR NOT A RACIST. THE NATIVE AMERICANS CALLED YOU DEVILS WITH A FORK TONGUE, THE ACIENT EGYPTIANS CLAIM TO HAVE CREATED YOU PEOPLE AND THEY CALLED YOU CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL....THE ARABS AND MUSLIMS CALL YOU SATAN...AND SO CALLED BLACKS KNOW YOUR THE DEVIL. YOU PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS LABLING OTHER PEOPLE AS UNHUMAN WHEN IF YOU RESEARCH YOUR BARBARIC HISTORY YOU WILL FIND WHITES FIT THE DESCRIPTION OF SAVAGE,DEVIL, BARBARIAN , ANIMAL ,AND JUST PLAIN NOT HUMAN.IT'S NO WONDER THE WHOLE WORLD DISPISE THE AMERICAN WHITE MAN...EVEN YOUR MORE PURE WHITE EUROPEANS.YOUR JUST A BRIME EXAMPLE WHY....YOUR PATHETIC, BUT KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BECAUSE THE MORE "YOU PEOPLE"BE YOUR TRUE SELVES, THE MORE YOU MAKE ME FEEL SOOOOO SUPERIOR TO YOU,OK.

BASICALLY IT LOOKS AS IF IT IS THE SAME OLD STUFF YEAR AFTER YEAR. KNOW ONE EVER COMES UP WITH ANYTHING COMPLETELY NEW . THE HAIR SHOW IS OUT THE WINDOW AND THE PUPPET/ CLOWN SHOW IS IN....HOWEVER THEY ARE REPRESENTING THE HAIR SHOW? ALL I SEE IS RIBBONS, RAGS, FEATHERS, STRAWS, STRINGS, ROPES, PAINT, AND BIKINI'S. BUT VERY LITTLE STYLE OF THE ACTUAL HAIR ITSELF. MY LORD, WHAT IN THE WORLD HAS HAPPENED.

It's bad enough in a movie but there isn't much creativity anymore in any of the hair shows black or white. It's the whole ensemble. Hair and clothes.
There's not really a show of talent, just props. With Halloween around the corner, I hate to say, not much difference between the two.
