Atlanta was blessed with an explosion of hair-raising talent over this weekend, as the Bronner Brothers International Hair Show took place at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Regretfully, I couldn't be there. But ATL's own celebrity photographer par excellence, Freddy O, was in the house, and he was kind enough to share his photos with us at BV Hair Talk!
I heart Freddy. Thanks so much for your generosity. Visit his blog at FreddyO.com for the latest celebrity happenings and hijinks in and around Atlanta.
The beautiful thing about the Bronner Brothers show is creativity is on display. Vivid, vivid display. This year's theme appears to be color to the max. The more outrageous, the better.
The Bronner Brothers show is all about fantasy hair and makeup, but we're wondering -- do you see any styles you'd actually consider rockin' here?

Okay There are 3 caucasian hair shows just like Bronner Bros that do the exact same thing,so it's not just black people and this is creative art they don't expect people to wear these styles in public. The racism on aol has got to be the worst. As soon as something is posted the racial slurs start to fly "You can take the bunny out of the jungle...." What is this
Hairstylists are artists and they should be able to show some creativity. Go find a child abuser or some kind of crimminal to rag on these people are not harming anyone.

Hair, your comment was enough to settle any silly arguments about how and why creative business minded American human beings -- who happen to be in the fashion, health, and beauty business -- do what they do. It also has a lot to do with the promotional aspects of an industry leader's Business Plan [Bronner Brothers] so that consumer interest within their market niche is either triggered, sustained, and/or maintained. What better way to accomplish that than by pushing and stretching the hair styling and fashion envelopes without IMMORALITY or ILLEGALITY? Other sectors of our economy, i.e., mortgage origination, securities-investment, insurance and financial services, ought to consider following this example. I say: Show me what you got and show me what you're working with!
