Since this is a protein treatment, you don't want to do this too often or it will have the reverse effect. It will leave your hair brittle. Growing up, my mom would do this about every 2-3 months on our hair. Also like she said, it's important to wash with COOL/COLD water and follow up with a moisturizing conditioner. But these treatments really do strenghten your hair and leave it shiny. This is very good advice for keeping hair healthy.
I noticed in the video you used brown eggs. Will you get the same effect if white eggs where used or is it better to use the brown eggs? Is it also better to use this before or after shampoo? Would this work better for those with chemical relaxers or does it matter?
The protein molecules of eggs are too large to penetrate the cuticle layer of hair. The most eggs can do for your hair is to coat it. The fact that you use a conditioner afterward has more to do with strengthening your hair. Obviously, you take good care of your hair but you could save time by just using a protein moisturizing conditioner.Protein tightens the cuticle layer and moisturizing opens it back up slightly. If cost is a factor, you can get Nutress Hair Protein Pack in 16oz for around $8 online and save your self a step. I'm sure there are other one step protein packs availiable, this happens to come to mind. Oh and by the way, if you mix eggs with conditioner use it all at one time because of bacteria. Make sure you clean everything that comes into contact with eggs thoroughly. You don't want to get samonella poisoning.
Hi,i have been watching your videos and they are very interesting to me but i was wondering if i could use the egg treatment with the honey pretreatment or could it harm my hair in some way ??

Does your hair grow with this treatment as well as less breakage and how long have you been doing this?

How often can a person give their hair this kind of treatment? Is there a limit? Daily, weekly?

I tried the egg protein treatment. I was very happy at the way my hair turned out. It was soft, shiny, and no breakage. Thanks for the video.
