Your relationship with your hairstylist can be one of the most important you have. Outside of family, women rely on their hairstylist more than anyone else in the world. Whether you are new to a city, you and your stylist have "broken up" or your best hair friend has moved away, celebrity stylist Caprice Green gives Hair Apparent the skinny on what to look for when selecting a new stylist.

Ms.Green, I work at out at the gym a lot [usually in the morning] and my hair is soaking wet after my work out. I have a relaxer in my hair that doesn’t seem to stay that long (I use super strength). My edges get frizzy quick. I gel them down, which only seems to help a little bit, but not really. I have worked out wearing my natural hair, it’s very inconvenient when I am trying to get ready to go to work in the morning. I don’t have time to blow dry and curl my hair. I have a sew in right now, which is okay, but again my edges look crazy. I am open for suggestion, but don’t want to go natural and my face is to round for a short hair cut.

Girl! HICKS TRANSFORMATIONS Smooth Edges pomade is like a fresh perm (relaxer) in a jar! When used sparingly on edges it is revolutionary!!!
If you have a little more time, apply a small amount of DESIGN ESSENTIALS Foaming Wrap solution to edges, comb into place and cover with wrapping paper and dry.
If all else fails....a hairline perm will be your best frind while wearing a weave>

I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and I sweat a lot. The problem is that my hair gets wet because of the works outs, and I lose that fresh perm look. I have medium to long hair. What can I do? I still want to look good. Will a weave help? Any suggestions is plus!!!

To: I don't mean to offend you.
I see that I should have said, "Does your keyboard only type in capital letters?" I admit I used the wrong word. In your comment to me:
deb, I don't mean to offend you but check your grammar when making comment. You said, " And does your computer only type in capital letters"?
LOL :-)
Comment should be comments. LOL :-)
I understand that no one is perfect, but I can't understand how someone can make that many comments and not see all those mistakes.

Even though spelling is not to be considered when sending messages electronically; some of the spellings here are atrocious. I can hardly believe that someone would want to be identified with such horrible spelling. Please consult a dictionary when in doubt of a spelling.
