Wassup Hair Lovers!!!

The stylish streets of NYC never fail to deliver dope fashionistas and fabulous hair divas.

This past week I took notice of the variety of curly hairstyles that sistas were rockin'.

Whether it was their own natural curls highlighted with the latest fashion trends (take note of the high-waist white jeans.)

Or closely cropped curls with burgundy colored bangs--wild curls are super hot and trendy right now!

The sun-kissed curly bob below not only highlighted this sista's skin tone but also made her eye make-up really pop!

Whichever way you choose to flaunt your curls--long or short, colored or natural--curls are a great way to keep cool, chic and sweat-worry free in the summer heat.

I was natural for 9 years. I then relaxed my hair and have been relaxed for another 4. So now after a week and a half in ny I want to go back to my roots. I made a short cut. What I did was washed conditioned and moisterized. Then I used setting lotion and made "Nubian Knots with my hair. After 24 hours I took the nubian knots out and hand styled my hair. It looks like a natural. So Now I can grow my hair out without a drastic cut.
