U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, one of the most prominent, and brilliant (Phi Beta Kappa, concert pianist, college president, board of Chevron, fluent in Russian, U.S. National Security advisor was her last job) women in the world today -- doesn't stray too far from her baseline bob.
As befits her job, TRULY jet setter status, Condi keeps her hair pretty simple -- her accessories include smart suits and her ubiquitous pearls. This Birmingham Alabama native and PK (preacher's kid) also wears her make-up fairly simple, with a hint of eyeliner and some shade of red lip. How many ways to wear the bob? Let us count the ways...

Condoleezza and Tyra are two different people. Ms. Rice sports her own hair as plain as it may be accommodates her. Looks great to me cause it is real.
Ms. Banks sports weaves, wigs etc. She is a super model and is looked upon to look just like that. To me it's phony if it ain't you. Be herself, wear her own hair and see how may styles she can create.

Although I don't usually agree with Ms. Rice's politics I greatly respect her as an African-American woman for all that she has accomplished and for all she is to the world. However, do I really care about her hair? As Black Voices there are so many other things that could and quite possibly should be high-lighted about Ms. Rice. What next, her marital status? The flip of Michele Obama (similar to Condi's former style) Come on. . . we're more than hair and fashion. A little more support and emphasis on other things, please. . . .

Too bad Dr. Rice (Condi?? personally, I don't LIKE that nickname)is not running for president! With HER brains (yes, and even LOOKS) and everything she IS, she is the only one I would (ever)vote for President!
Re: Her hair...momentarily, forget the cosmetic aspect!

I'm going to be perfectly honest. I love Condi she's an exemplary figure of black dignity, integrity, poise, wisdom, and character to say the least....but sweetie...when you are this much in the worldwide public eye you must not sport the kuk-a-bugs, wear either a salon-finished afro, or put a relaxer at least on them edges PLEASE.

Condolezza Rice is one of the most brilliant, productive, beautiful, and strongest(mentally and intellectually)woman on the planet. We need to embrace, protect, and immulate her from the boardrooms to the classroom and even the raising of our children. Ms. Rice deserves a grand applause because she has risen above the levels where the average man (regardless of race)could only dream of going. In essence, she makes us proud. Welcome her home and into your homes as she completes her term as SECRETARY OF STATE. Wow! What a woman. She is what brothers with anything going for themselves whisper (under their breath)...THAT SISTER IS FINE!!!!

I respect Ms. Rice for her intellectual abilities and position as well; however, I do not agree with her politics as I am often sicken with her denial of real world realities insofar as geopolitical matters. She will say the "the world is square" if George W. Bush suggest. Loyality is a great asset especially within high levels of government, but she pushes the limit. Following the current president's lead landed Former Secertary Of State Powell in a precarious situation. One can only speculate why she too has not been in a similar situation.??

I love Dr. Rice for many reasons but, especially for the fact that she sheds a positive light on Black feminity as opposed to the images displayed on BET. I also admire the fact that she never allowed the naysayers and bucket crabs within our race to phase her.
Thank you Dr Rice for rising above the fray and for letting people realize that a ghetto pass isn't necessary to succeed in America.

Has anyone noticed that Obama's wife hairdo is much like Condi's hairstyle. Reserved is one thing but when you're in the political forefront I would think or better yet rethink the hair.
