New York City radio has been featuring R&B music men and they are ruling the charts! Let's see if 50 Cent or Kanye can knock them off! Fantasia and Chrisette Michele's singles are already climbing very fast. But the top songs for the past few months have been coming from male soul singers. Two out of the five top men are sporting dark groomed caesars with the exception of Robin Thicke, who's profiling the front flip-top mohawk with tapered sides. While John Legend has the only free coily 'fro, Joe shines with the clean baldy.
For all the women out there who care about your well-groomed husband or man in your life, here are a few of the best grooming products on the market. These are the Top 5 Groomed Men in the Music Game and Product Recommendations:
Who's your top soul Groomed Crooner?
1. MUSIQ SOUL CHILD is on the top of the charts with TEACH ME. For his look, try a natural pomade oil moisturizer like, Carol's Daughter, Mimosa Hair Honey to keep this style smooth and shiny.

2. ROBIN THICKE with CAN YOU BELIEVE. Try Aveda Pure-Performance, Liquid Pomade to spike the front flip-top mohawk.

3. JOE with IF I WERE YOUR MAN. Try a moisturizing oil like, Moroccan Oil to keep this baldy moisturized. Also, check out actor, BLAIR UNDERWOOD in this video.

4. JOHN LEGEND with ANOTHER AGAIN. Try a grooming & moisturizing butter creme like, Jane Carter Solution's Nourish & Shine to coil and style these tresses. You may also use this moisturizer to achieve the twist out look for men, too!

5. MARIO, last but not least, with HOW CAN I BREATH. Try, Khiels' Creme with Silk Groom to smooth this velvet mane.

I am so feeling MUSIQ !
I luv JLegend but I'm really really really feeling MUSIQ! 'Buddy' is catchy, and is honest bc alot of guys do just want girls to f*ck w no strings attached. His 2nd song 'Teachme' & 3rd song 'Lullaby' are also FANTASTIC!
GO MUSIQ !

In my own mind John Legend is good but he has not been out long enough and has only done one hit song which [to me] is not sufficient enough in order to be included in this list. Robin Thicke, nope...not impressed at all

I'm glad to see the return of the smooth singing and stylish soul man rather than this 'hip-hop' stuff. Don't get me wrong, some of it was pretty good; Jagged Edge, Jodeci, Dru Hill, Guy. But I much better like the Eric Benets, Carl Thomas, John Legend, and Joe. They present a more positive image for the black man and for black music than the others out there right now. Where are you Freddie Jackson? We need you now that Luther's gone. Show these new cats the meaning of smoove!
