Alicia Keys is simply beautiful. She will appear on the premier telecast of 'CANE' on CBS Tuesday night. I can't wait to see how she wears her hair for this performance. Ms. Keys will play herself, performing at a lounge/club and will interact with the club owner.

Earlier in the month, she walked the red carpet at the 2007 VMAs with a Sade-inspired style: a long, slicked-back, braided ponytail. Then later that evening; she rocked the stage (and I mean ROCKED!!!) with a live, impeccable performance of her new single 'No One.' Her stylist transformed her hair into a smoothly brushed down, side-to-side middle-parted do with a big and long, FREE CURLY AFRO WAVE. And, with a single braided forehead band to top it off. How cool was that?

So simple, so sophisticated and yet an easy transition from day to evening that anyone can achieve right at home. Simply attach an extension ponytail piece for the day look, then at night take that same wefted ponytail, attach the hair as a 3/4 free loose hair piece around the temple of your head - ear to ear with clip on extensions or pin the piece right in. You can also just have two separate pieces and go with that, giving you longevity and flexibly with the hair extension.
